Pillar 01

Branding & Identity Systems

A brand stops working when nobody can tell which version is current. Four logo files in circulation, a colour that drifted somewhere along the way, captions that argue with the headline on the site.

We rebuild the mark and the rules together so the whole thing survives contact with people who have never spoken to us. At the end you get editable source files, every export format, and a written guide a freelancer you hire next year can follow.

How branding work runs

  1. Audit

We start with what is already out there. Old collateral, the logo variants still in circulation, the competitors you keep getting mistaken for. Seeing it in one place is what usually defines the brief.

  2. Direction

You choose between a small number of directions. Each one is a position with the reasoning attached, so the decision still makes sense to you in six months when somebody on your team questions it.

  3. Build

Mark, type, palette, and whichever applications matter most to you. Packaging, social templates, the pitch deck, signage. Everything is produced at the quality it will ship at.

  4. Handover

Guidelines, source files and exports, written so someone outside the project can apply them correctly on their first attempt.

Questions about branding

Do I own the logo and the source files?
Yes, all of it. Editable source files, every export format and the written guidelines transfer to you on delivery, and there is no licence to renew.
Can you work with the logo we already have?
Sometimes the mark is fine and what is missing is the system around it. The audit is where we find that out, and we will tell you straight if we think the mark itself has to go.
